THE EVENT: The UM-China Research Park (UMCRP) Business and Investment Opportunity Symposium is designed to enable high-potential Maryland companies to connect with and benefit from investors from China. The event will include short presentations by companies to investors, one-on-one meetings with investors, remarks by delegates from China, and tours of the University of Maryland campus and facilities.

THE GOAL: The Symposium is designed to advance Maryland companies by connecting them with potential Chinese investors. Any financial investment agreement resulting from this symposium will be between the investor and the company. Investment can be used to set up operations in the UM-China Research Park.
